KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Security Architect to join our Global Service Center organization.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop security solutions, technical and reference architectures, and supporting security strategies tailored to KPMG's business needs, with a focus towards Microsoft's Office365 and Azure services
Assist with aligning and translating business requirements and architectures into secure solutions and designs for applications and products that can be leveraged by all professionals across KPMG's member firms
Partner with global Applications, products, and solution owners and project teams to deliver reliable and scalable security capabilities and strategies to optimize confidentiality, integrity, functionality, performance, and financial costs; support ongoing business stakeholder dialog of security strategies, priorities and governance
Perform as a subject matter professional on cloud technologies (and cloud technology security) within the KPMG Global technology and business enablement team with tasks to coach peers, team members and facilitate knowledge transfer within the greater Cloud group, ITS (Information Technology Services) Global
Regularly work with ITS Global Technology Focus Groups on projects, operational questions and IT Standards by participating and acting as a promoter and guardian of global standards
Lead, develop, and contribute to service deliverables with a security focus on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services, with a focus on Microsoft technologies (O365 and Azure)
Qualifications:
Minimum of eight years of relevant IT security experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Experience in cloud security architectures; Azure, Devops and/or Cloud experience is preferred
Holistic understanding of attack vectors, current threats, and remediation strategies
Experience in supporting, documenting and supporting information security operations, specifically monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining mission critical networks and information systems
Professional security qualifications such as CISSP preferred; applicant must be willing to obtain CISSP within 6 months, if they are not already certified

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
