Job Description:
Character trait & Skills
o Previous Benefits and/or Human Resources experience with general understanding surrounding benefits such as short and long term disability, FMLA, etc.
o Strong Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
o Will be expected to be proficient in SAP/IFT
o Highly organized and detail oriented
o Strong internal and external Customer Orientation
o Flexibility and ability to multi-task
o Strong follow up skills
o Good writing skills
Responsibilities
o Process, administer and log all invoices for HR
o Process and ensure payment of monthly vendor bills on a timely basis
o Process bi-weekly HSA wires for Optum Health
o Become proficient in HR inTouch learning how to run ad hoc reports
o Create/modify presentation slides for certain benefits topics.
o Handles departmental filing and organizational efforts
o Proactively reach out to all new hires to ensure they have elected benefits in a timely manner to ensure they do not miss benefits eligibility upon start date
o Process COBRA paperwork
o Assist with FMLA and Disability administrative duties
o Support with Open Enrollment
o Process changes via workflow and obtain backup documentation from employees for all life event changes
o Send out monthly benefits announcements on exercise program
o Organize and run the annual flu program (coordinate with Health Care Company vendors, book rooms, organize vouchers and send out e-mails)
o Organize and run setting up of the annual biometrics screening dates with Health Care Company
o Process automotive purchase requests and keep spreadsheet up to date with correct information
o Maintain retiree vehicle payments in conjunction with FS.
o Maintain records for retiree lump sum medical payments.
o Organize and run the annual flu program (coordinate with Health Care Company vendors, book rooms, organize vouchers and send out e-mails)
o Organize and run setting up of the annual biometrics screening dates with Health Care Company
o Scheduling of meetings and coordinate rooms/food. Coordinate Lunch & Learns
o Manage calendar, meeting and travel arrangements for Benefits team.
o Maintain and update HR Discount site
o Supports Benefits Specialist and Benefits Manager in day to day operations as needed.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
