Job Description:
Title : Business Analyst
Location : Woodcliff Lake, NJ
Duration : Fulltime / Permanent
Interview : Phone Screen Followed By F2F.
Job duties
Responsible for requirements gathering, testing, and user support
Formulates and defines scope and objective based on user needs and thorough understanding of business processes
Works collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals which includes Auditors and Developers in a multi-location environment
Provides technical guidance concerning business implications of application development projects
Prepares UI prototypes using MS Visio
Gathers and analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues
Work with project and program managers to assist in usage of tools and templates for their respective projects
Coordinate with IT Application Development team to specify and test enhancements
Prioritize and manage the deployment of enhancements and defect fixes
Develop change documentation and release notes, and communicate to stakeholders
Provide recommendations relative to issues, risks, dependencies, and project deliverables
Perform related duties as assigned or required
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
At least 4-6 years experience
Accounting/Finance degree is required
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Excellent written presentation skills (MS PowerPoint is a plus)
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals which includes Auditors and Developers in a multi-location environment
Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
Ability to handle requirement changes effectively
Ability to drive independent problem solving with minimal upfront direction
Ability to summarize information and succinctly communicate analyses verbally and in writing
Prior work experience in Agile development environment is a plus
Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, ETL tools and data warehouses is a plus
Familiarity with iRise Simulation tool.
